Pretty great, right? We think so. UPS offers up to $5,520 in assistance per student per year, with a lifetime maximum of $25,000. You’re also able to choose any subject to study - UPS doesn’t restrict your course of study.
2 - Verizon
Working at Verizon is said to have great benefits, one of those being the tuition assistance program. All employees at Verizon are eligible for up to $8,000 in tuition assistance in each calendar year. However, Verizon’s program does require that classes being reimbursed are business related.
3 - Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo offers tuition reimbursements up to $5,000 annually for their employees. Additionally, they also offer a scholarships to dependent children of employees. Pretty great perks!
4 - Home Depot
Home Depot is another company that offers tuition reimbursements to employees from their very first day of employment. Salaried employees can receive up to $5,000 per year of reimbursements, where full time hourly employees can receive up to $3,000 per year. Part time hourly employees are eligible to receive up to $1,500 in reimbursements per calendar year. Courses have to be started after the employee hire date, though, and courses must be approved in order to be eligible for reimbursement.
5 - Starbucks
The popular coffee giant offers great tuition assistance perks for every benefits-eligible employee that works part time or full time. Starbucks offers 100% (yes, you read that right) tuition coverage for a first-time Bachelor’s degree. There are over 80 degree programs to choose from. The only catch is that in order to be eligible for tuition reimbursement, employees must be enrolled at Arizona State University’s online school. For what could be essentially a free Bachelor’s degree, it sounds pretty awesome to us.
6 - Comcast
Want to receive up to $5,750 per year in tuition assistance? Then working for Comcast may be a good fit for you! Comcast offers tuition assistance and reimbursements for its employees that are enrolled in approved programs and courses.
7 - Chipotle
Good food isn’t the only thing Chipotle offers. It also offers educational assistance to its part time and full time employees. Chipotle offers its employees up to $5,250 in tuition assistance annually and up to $5,185 in federal grants each year. Additionally, Chipotle offers on the job training that can transfer to college credit hours; each promotion earned at Chipotle can also earn more credit hours towards a degree.
8 - Ford Company
The car giant Ford Company offers great tuition assistance for its employees. Ford actually provides prepayment of tuition of up to $6,000 per year; the courses just must be approved by Ford Company and through regionally accredited institutions. The assistance can also include coverage for testing and licensing fees. Additionally, Ford Company offers personal development assistance, and will prepay tuition and fees up to $2,700 for any courses or certifications that can enhance the employee’s knowledge and performance at work.
9 - JetBlue
JetBlue allows employees to fly high in their education in addition to their jobs. JetBlue Scholars, JetBlue’s educational assistance program, offers a chance to apply to enroll to JetBlue scholars, and if accepted, to take approved courses. JetBlue covers the cost! To be eligible, employees have to have been at JetBlue for at least two years and have some college credits already.
10 - Best Buy
Full time employees at Best Buy are typically eligible to receive up to $3,500 per year in tuition assistance towards undergraduate programs, and it doesn’t stop there! Best Buy will also assist with up to $5,250 annually for graduate courses. Whether you’re in undergrad or grad school, working at Best Buy could possibly help you finance your college career.
