When you start your court reporting career you’ll play a critical role in the legal system. You can start your career in court reporting by receiving a court reporting Degree or Certification at post-secondary vocational schools, technical colleges, trade schools and specialized court reporting schools. Court reporting courses include comprehensive training in methods, techniques, equipment, and other focused court reporting instruction. Once your court reporting training is complete you’ll be eligible to receive your state license for court reporting.
