What To Expect
Those working in the field of construction management are responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the construction process. These project managers are crucial to the overall plan and develop and maintain an accurate timeline from groundbreaking to building occupancy.
In larger projects, more than one person may supervise the building technology. Typically projects are divided up into various stages of construction, including: earth moving, foundation work, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping. Supervisors are often responsible for purchasing raw product needed for the structure and have the how to knowledge of a builder, but they usually don’t do any actual construction work. The responsibility to complete a new building on time and under budget lies with the construction manager.
