It’s all about the programs

NVSTM diploma programs offer an intensive, integrative approach that qualifies you for entry-level work in a variety of settings, including day spas, health clubs, and allied medical environments. Successful completion of the basic 525-hour program qualifies you to take the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork exam.

You will have the opportunity to gain a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and pathology, as well a comprehensive understanding of foundation massage theory and practice. Here are some additional areas you can study:

Duration and scheduling

The intensive basic program can be completed in six to 12 months. Daytime and evening classes are held Monday through Thursday. Week-end classes are held on alternate Saturdays and Sundays.

Admissions and financial aid

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent to enroll. The school may accept transfer students from other massage schools. Financial aid may be available for qualified students.
