City College maintains a long and honorable history in education, descended from Draughon’s Junior College of Business, originally founded in 1896 in Paducah, Kentucky. Quality education continues to be the goal of City College, with educational facilities in Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, Hollywood, Miami, and Altamonte Springs, Florida.

With assistance from the Student Financial Services Department, a variety of financial aid is available to those who qualify.

Other resources include the Library/Media Resource Center, which aims to provide City College students with the print, CD-ROM, and online resources necessary to meet their education goals and objectives. City College also provides all graduates with career assistance through the Career Assistance and Development Center, including career and job postings, resume matching, onsite interviewing and interview preparations, negotiating, networking, and help with arranging personal interviews.
